TheFerrari Mondial was designed at the end of the 70s, to replace the Dino with a grand tourer that combined driving pleasure and practicality of use. Pininfarina designed a coupé with four comfortable seats and a large trunk behind the engine compartment, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1980.

This model is the 1985 version, in which the Mondial was completely renewed in terms of aesthetics and mechanics. The front and bumper undergo a total restyling, which will subsequently also be used for the Ferrari 328, the Testarossa and the GTB/GTS Turbo. Important changes also concern the bodywork and bodywork, which is significantly lightened with the creation of bonnets and grilles entirely in aluminium. From a technical point of view, the biggest changes concern the engine. The displacement rises to 3185 cm³, and thanks to the 270 hp of power it is able to reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
