Citroen 2 Cv Pick-Up

The 2CV Pick-Up, marketed for the first time in 1949 with the name of 2CV and met with resounding success, thanks to its limited dimensions, the ability to move around inhabited centers and sufficient cargo space.

On the occasion of the 1950 Paris Motor Show, Citroen presented the utilitarian version, a small van almost identical to the one that became the definitive version marketed six months later, precisely in March 1951 .
The mechanics were those of the sedan and the small van fulfilled its tough task up to the limit of its strength.
The AU version saw performance improve and demand and delivery times increasingly increase. Over time the changes also affected the engine, without ever drastically distorting the original project.
At the beginning of the 1950s, a "platform" version was created, intended for bodybuilders who set up a series of versions intended for the most varied loading needs, including this incredible Pick-Up from 1954.
The bodywork, apart from small areas of superficial rust, is in very good condition. Considering its age, the Pick-up is in more than satisfactory condition, working and with brakes just redone.
