Description
Description
TheGiulietta Sprintwas presented at the Turin motor show in 1954. It was the car manufacturer's first approach to cars aimed at a wider audience , with a displacement under 1300. The Giulietta Sprint was born in Turin, with Bertone bodywork. Very elegant lines, short wheelbase, two front seats and two makeshift rear seats. The initial gearbox had the lever under the steering wheel, but in September 1958 the cloche gearbox was adopted. On that occasion, the grille grille and the gearbox were modified. The Sprint reaches 165 K/h and has no rivals in its category. The success was such that production, suspended in 1962, resumed in 1964 with the name Sprint 1300 and a practically identical appearance. The Giulietta Sprint was produced in two successive series, for a total of 24,084 examples.
